How to change font colour and background of CMD?

Many of you like dark color, some likes light color, very few people know how you can change your cmd background color and font color.

Here are a few easy commands which will customize your cmd.


     How to change the color of font and background of CMD?

  • open run from windows key + R.
  • now type cmd and hit enter button.

  • Now type 'color help' and press enter.


  • Now it will show you 16 different colors.
here you can see colors name with numbers and alphabets
  • Then type 'color 74'(7 is for White and 4 is for Red ). Now press enter key.


Now you can see that your CMD background and font color are changed.
