Wait is over for Apple Lovers

After a year Apple is back with its new iPhone 14 series and many more gadgets.

This year Apple launched 3 watches, Airpod, and everyone's favorite iPhone.

Let's talk about them.

Apple Watch Series 8

There are not a lot of upgrades to talk about. Same as last year.

Just a few features added -

Now Series 8 last long for 18 hours.

The new update is Crash detection which is useful for our loved ones.

When a crash is detected it will automatically connect you with emergency services and notify your emergency contact.

Emergency SOS: Press and hold the side button and Apple Watch can call local emergency services to share your location

And some workout features and health monitoring:- Heart Rate Zone and Customize workout. And some features are still about to come soon.

The price of Series 8 is ₹45000 in India and 399$ in the US.

Apple Watch SE

There are a few minor updates to the software. The physical look is the same as last year. But in software, there are few updates.

Emergency SOS: Press and hold the side button and Apple Watch can call local emergency services to share your location.

Crash Detection: It will send a notification to your emergency number when you get into a crash. Hope you will never need this.

No more to talk about SE. Price of the SE watch is ₹29000 in India.

Watch Ultra

Watch ultra is the most expensive watch from apple. And full of features that can't be in another watch.

This watch builds with a robust titanium case and comes with dual frequency GPS.

 

In this watch, there is an action button given for quick action. It is customizable and can do things like control a workout, mark Compass  Waypoint, or start a dive.

There are GPS Antenna in the watch that provides an accurate location for calculating distance, pace, and route maps.

 There is also a secondary speaker that improves audio volume for calls and Siri.

 And a Siren that can be heard up to 600 feet or 180 meters away.

Apple watches Ultra features a new depth gauge. It also delivers the data and functionality required by scuba and free divers and descends down to 40 meters.

Ultra has up to 36 hours of normal use. 

If we talk about the price of this watch. The price is more than an iPhone 14. In India Ultra comes with ₹89000. 

AirPods Pro

Airpods Pro comes with an H2 chip it has an advanced audio performance. It delivers smarter noise cancelation, superior three-dimensional sound, and more efficient battery life.

It has 2x more Noise Cancellations than last Airpods.

Touch control that can easily adjust volume just by swipe up and down, press to play and pause music, or answer calls or end calls.

There is also a built-in speaker in the Airpod pro case to easily locate your Airpod case. And a lanyard loop to attach the case with back[ack or handbags.

AirPods Pro comes with silicon tips. And also up to 6 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation enabled and up to 30 hours of total listening time using the case.

iPhones

iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are upgraded version of iPhone 13 with same A15 bionic chip. Difference between them are now A15 bionic have 5-core GPU but in iPhone 13 A15 bionic chip have 4-core GPU. And almost both phones are same as each other.

Let's talk about the new(old) iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

iPhone 14 comes at 15.4 cm and the 14 Plus has a 17.0 cm display size.

There is a Crash detection call for help feature added. That detects a severe car crash, then call the emergency services and notify your emergency contact.

But iPhone 14 and 14 Plus has the same chip that's in iPhone 13.

There is nothing to talk about iPhone 14 and 14 Plus because if you all know about iPhone 13 then you don't have new to know about 14 they are the same as 13.

Also, you'll get 26 hours of battery performance.

iPhone 14 price starts at ₹79000 and iPhone 14 Plus price starts at ₹89000.

     

iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max

iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max come in 4 colors and 6.1-inch display in Pro models and a 6.7-inch display in Pro Max display.

iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have an A16 Bionic chip. Apple compared this chip with A13. So, we can guess that not a big upgrade from A15 to A16.

Although if we talk about display there is Dynamic Island this is just like a notch but many cool features are added. It is also a part of the touch screen. It bubbles up music, Facetime and so many more. It makes a new and small display on your screen that shows your music, FaceID, and many more.

Another feature is the Always-on display Apple is late in this feature many can see many Android phones with an Always-on display. This is just a lock screen that dims your display light. This one is not gonna helpful but definitely battery performance will be affected by these features. But it can be turned off when you turn on Low Power mode.

 

The huge and biggest upgrade is in the camera. We all know that apple's camera has been 12 Mega Pixels for the last few years. But this time iPhone 14 Pro and Pro models have 48 Mega Pixel.  We all know that if we talk about iPhone's camera it is definitely given us the best and better photos than other phones.

Much more details less light, and action mode for smooth handheld videos.

The front camera is also upgraded. Now you will get better and more details in low light.

Another feature of this phone is Crash Detection, and Emergency SOS via Satelite.

Emergency SOS features are only available few countries. If you are lost somewhere and you don't have a network or wifi on your iPhone. You can text emergency services over satellite.

Crash Detection call for help when you are in the condition to call. It will detect a car crash, then call 911 and notify your emergency contacts.

If we talk about the Price of these phones. This year prices are also high in India. iPhone 14 Pro starting price is ₹129000 and the iPhone Pro Max's starting price is ₹139000.

                                         

These are some upgrades to new iPhones. If you are using iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max. I think you'll not get any huge upgrades in iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. This is not a worthwhile upgrade.

Apple Event (March 2022)

Its security and performance make Apple a unique brand, I don't think anyone is there in competing when it comes to performance & Security. Every year twice Apple organizes its event. This March they called it Apple Silicon, Apple's March event is basically for the hardware Launches and in October they launch, iOS, the New iPhone, macOS, and many more things.

 Apple tv+

Apple tv? What is this? Do you know about this? Apple tv is apple's mostly ignored and only open by mistake. But yah!! Apple adds some movies and web series and partnership with Friday night Baseball. Neither I nor many of us don't use apple tv.  So, this is not any big change. And definitely, no one is interested in Apple tv+.

iPhone

iPhone 13 Pro world's fastest phone with an A15 Bionic chip and with Apple's latest iPhone with the latest iOS is now available in Alpine Green. And iPhone 13 with green color. It's only an Apple thing when they can make a release of Color only.

iPhone SE

iPhone SE (Special Edition) this time SE is with an A15 Bionic chip and 5G too. iPhone SE still comes with iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 designs that old look.

But the best thing is recycled material in the design of the iPhone SE, like in the haptic engine, where they used 100% recycled rare earth elements and 100% recycled tungsten.

So Finally this is another big launch by apple as apple says. 

iPad Mini

A huge and big step taken for iPad mini with chip M1 and all we know is that M1 is the very fastest chip and that chip is with your iPad mini if we look at the old iPad it increases Graphic performance by 2X than the older one which increases the battery performance as well hope. The 8-core design of the CPU gives 60x faster performance than the older iPad mini. 

  

And another big change with the iPad is the front camera now with 12 Mega Pixel and the wide-angle as well. 

And the last thing is 100% recycled aluminum in the enclosed and rare earth elements in the enclosure and audio magnets.

Mac

Mac, In the last few years Apple has really given the best and most incredible performance notebook to their customer with M1, M1pro, M1max, and now with M1 ultra. As we know from the last few years M1 is so popular in the field of notebooks because of its performance. M1 is the fastest chip in the world now. But now Apple is not stopping they created the M1 pro after that M1max and now the M1 ultra which is faster than the world's best chip. Now, this really big and huge step was taken by Apple.

M1 max has groundbreaking interconnect technology and from that, they connect 2 M1 max. Then it becomes M1 ultra the best and fastest chip. 

 

Mac Studio

Mac studio!! Even the name itself sounds amazing. M1 max and M1 ultra chips are used in mac studio. This definitely going to break the market through his performance and capability. It is the first computer to put outrageous performance, substantial connectivity, and completely new capability.

If we look at its design the exterior is made from aluminum extrusion, the width is 7.7 inches square and the height is 3.7 inches. There is two side blower one is on the base of the studio and another is on the backside of the studio.

And if we talk about connectivity there are lots of options to connect like C-type, HDMI, Ethernet port, USB, and an audio jack.

On the back of the studio, there are 4 C-type ports, a 10-gigabit Ethernet port, 2 USB A ports, an HDMI port, and an audio jack as well.

On the front side, there is also 2 C-type port with 10 gigabits and there is also an SD card slot.

If we talk about the CPU performance of mac studio with M1 max is 2.5x faster than iMac with 10 core-i9 and 50% faster than Mac pro with 16 core Xeon processor. Xeon is the most popular configuration.

And GPU performance in mac studio with M1 max is 3.5x. faster than iMac Radeon pro 5700XT. and if compare it with Mac pro with Radeon pro-W5700X then again mac studio with M1 max is 3.4x faster.

So, definitely, mac studio is a very powerful and complete package. 

Apple Display

Apple displays new screens to fit the mac studio below your new display. There are 2 displays launched first studio display is 27-inch (68.29 centimeters) and comes with a 5k retina display, webcam, and apples best set of speakers ever. 

Pro display XDR is 32-inch (81.28 centimeters) and comes with a 6k retina display, webcam, and apple's best set of speakers also. It is designed with height, tilt, and rotation and is completely adjustable. You can also rotate it with landscape portrait as you make it perfect for your work. 

And if we talk about pricing. As we know apple's products do not come with budgets Studio display comes for $1599 and the Pro display XDR comes $5000.

MacOS 12 Monterey Features

macOS Monterey is officially out now you can download it on your mac if it's supported.

There are a few hidden features in this new OS upgrade.

Apple is working hard and doing different things than others that why Apple has a unique identity. Apple is famous for new inventions and creativity, performance and the most popular thing is security and privacy.

So first thing if you want to run macOS Monterey then you definitely know that your MacBook is supporting macOS Monterey or not.

Features-

• Hello on Screen Saver

Just go to system preference and open Desktop and Screen Saver. Now here you can see a new "hello" screen saver. You can also choose between the soft tone, spectrum, and minimal.

•  Colorful Cursor

We are using black & white cursor colors since childhood. Now it is time to change or customize your cursor colors.

Go into System Preferences then go to accessibility and after in display you can see Pointer. Here you see Pointer outline and pointer fill color. Now from here, you can pick whatever colors you want. It's all your choice.

• Convert Photo

When you airdrop any photo from your phone mac it shows up as an heic file. Actually, these are very good file types, high resolution, and high quality.

But from now in macOS Monterey, if you airdrop any photo from your phone you can easily convert just by right click on it and going to Quick Action and here you can see Convert Image. From there you can convert it into  JPEG, PNG, and HEIF in different file sizes.

• Quicktime playback speed

If you open Quicktime play you can now change the playback speed if you click the little side arrows on the play bar. You can choose anything from 0.5x to 2x speed.

• Compact Tab Bar In Safari

Safari is the most popular browser for apple users. Because of their performance and security. So that Apple doesn't disappoint its users.

Safari is going to look pretty identical to the way it looked before. If you want the new compact tab bar just go to safari preferences then go to the tab and here you can enable compact and separate. If you don't want the compact bar then you can also choose a separate bar.

• Shared with you

You may have noticed already in iOS 15 when someone shared a photo with you sometimes it'll show up in your camera. From now on this is applied on safari too. The link that your friends send you will show up on the safari home page. So you don't need to find it in your massages.

• Quick Note

Actually, this is my favorite feature it totally looks like magic. To open a quick note on your mac just stick your mouse in the bottom right corner of your screen and then click on that corner now you can see small quick notes pop. It's very helpful when you are doing something like studying or anything else and that time you want to write something then you don't need to open your quick notes from launchpad or docks. Just in a few seconds quick note is on your screen. Also, it is uploaded on your iCloud and has many features as well.

• Erase Your Mac

If you don't care about your data then you can easily erase all content and setting. Just go to system preference then select system preferences and click on Erase All content and Setting.

This might seem like a pretty minor feature but it's actually a very big deal. Before this, if you want to erase your contents and setting you had to go boot into internet recovery wipe your SSD, and then do a fresh install of macOS. This is a very difficult and a big deal most people don't know how to wipe their SSD and do a fresh install macOS.

• Memoji

This is the coolest feature of this upgrade. Now you can edit and customize your emoji as you want for your login window or login user.

Just go to system preference and open Users and groups. Now click on your profile and then you see memoji. Click on the + icon and from here you can customize and create your own emoji as you want.

         

After applying this whenever you log in on your mac if you give the wrong password then it will do some effects. That looks cool and very attractive. 

• Live Text Copy

Copying text from pics is like a miracle when you hear. But this time Apple has done something different and creative. Till today we are using some third-party apps for OCR converter, but with macOS it's a task of blink.

          

Now you can copy texts from the pic on your mac. Previously some android phones had this features.

• Focus Mode

Focus mode is a feature which we use in our daily life. Because while doing some important work we don't want any type of disturbance. Our work, study, or editing is our priority. We can't compromise with them.  

       

So from now, Apple gives you an option to customize your focus mode. You can edit it by your choice. Give your every focus mode a unique name by your choice. 

       

Just go to focus preference and click on the + icon and then custom and give your own name to your focus mode.
